Calibration [12/2019 - 11/2023]

NOTE:

When any of the following parts have been replaced, perform adjustment shown in the following table. If not, the intuitive parking assist system may not operate correctly.

  1. ADJUST INTUITIVE PARKING ASSIST SYSTEM 

    The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during intuitive parking assist system removal/installation are shown below.

  2. REGISTRATION OF BUMPER TYPE (PROCEDURE 1) 
    1. Preparation
      1. Check for DTCs.

        Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2019 - 11/2023] 

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    4. Turn the GTS on.
    5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Clearance Warning / Utility.

      Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Utility 

      Tester Display
      ECU Calibration
    6. Select "Clearance Sonar ECU" and perform steering adjustment according to the display on the GTS.
    7. Enter the bumper type using the GTS.

      Standard 1
    8. Disconnect the GTS from the DLC3.
  3. REGISTRATION OF ULTRASONIC SENSORS (PROCEDURE 2) 
    1. Preparation
      1. Check for DTCs.

        Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2019 - 11/2023] 

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    4. Turn the GTS on.
    5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Clearance Warning / Utility.

      Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Utility 

      Tester Display
      ECU Calibration
    6. Select "Fr Sensor or Bumper" or "Rr Sensor or Bumper" and perform automatic adjustment according to the display on the GTS.
    7. Disconnect the GTS from the DLC3.
