  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Clear DTCs

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Trouble Codes

      DTC B14B3 or B14C3 is not output.

    GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

    B14B3 (for HV Model): Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2021 - 10/2022]

    B14B3 (for Gasoline Model with Automatic Air Conditioning System): Refer to DTC B14B3: Lost Communication with Rear Panel LIN [12/2019 - 11/2023]

    B14B3 (for Gasoline Model with Manual Air Conditioning System): Refer to DTC B14B3: Lost Communication with Rear Panel LIN [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS 
    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

    1. Disconnect the f7 seat heater control sub-assembly LH (for rear) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the f7 seat heater control sub-assembly LH (for rear) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      f7-7 (HTR1) - f5-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      f7-7 (HTR1) or f5-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      f7-10 (E) - f5-3 Always Below 1 Ω

    2. Disconnect the H64 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

  10. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Reconnect the f7 seat heater control sub-assembly LH (for rear) connector.
    2. Reconnect the H64 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
    3. Remove the air conditioning amplifier assembly with its connectors still connected.

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  11. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (FOR REAR)) 
    1. Disconnect the f7 seat heater control sub-assembly LH (for rear) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H64-24 (SM2L) - f7-5 (SWR) Always Below 1 Ω
      H64-24 (SM2L) or f7-5 (SWR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

    REPLACE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (FOR REAR). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

  12. INSPECT S/HTR R/L RELAY 
    1. Inspect the S/HTR R/L relay.
