DTC B2376-16: Right Door Mirror Sensor Circuit Voltage Below Threshold [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Mirror R > Clear DTCs 

      Result

  2. REPRODUCE DTC 
    1. Operate the door mirror surface.

  3. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs.

  4. INSPECT OUTER MIRROR ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Temporarily replace the outer mirror actuator assembly RH with a new or known good one.

      HINT: 

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [10/2022 - ]

  5. CLEAR DTC

    *a Front view of wire harness connector
    (Outer Mirror Control ECU Assembly RH)
    *b Front view of wire harness connector
    (Outer Mirror Actuator Assembly RH)
    1. Disconnect the z16 outer mirror control ECU assembly RH connector.
    2. Disconnect the D outer mirror actuator assembly RH connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      z16-5 (VC) - D-3 (VC) Always Below 1 Ω
      z16-6 (VSSR) - D-2 (VSSR) Always Below 1 Ω
      z16-13 (HSSR) - D-1 (HSSR) Always Below 1 Ω
      z16-14 (E1) - D-4 (E1) Always Below 1 Ω
      z16-5 (VC) or D-3 (VC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z16-6 (VSSR) or D-2 (VSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z16-13 (HSSR) or D-1 (HSSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z16-14 (E1) or D-4 (E1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
