NOTE:
  • When replacing the combination meter assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a combination meter assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.
  • Before preforming this procedure, check for Meter / Gauge System DTC B1500-13 which is stored if an open or short in the circuit is detected. If DTC B1500-13 is output, perform troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.

HINT: 

When the fuel level drops below the following amount, the fuel level warning light illuminates.

  1. For HV Model: 9.8 liters (10.4 US qts, 8.6 Imp. qts)
  2. For Gasoline Model: 10.2 liters (10.8 US qts, 9.0 Imp. qts)
