Engine Coolant Temperature Receiver Gauge Malfunction [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.

      For HV Model: Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2023 - ]

      For Gasoline Model: Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2023 - ]

      DTCs are not output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result: 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 

    For HV Model: Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2023 - ]

  2. CHECK FOR DTC (SFI SYSTEM) 
    1. Check if SFI system DTCs are output.

      Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS 
    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.
