Engine Oil Level Sensor Circuit [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Remove the engine oil level sensor.

   For HV Model: Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

   For Gasoline Model: Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

2. Inspect the engine oil level sensor.

   For HV Model: Refer to INSPECTION [12/2019 - ]

   For Gasoline Model: Refer to INSPECTION [12/2019 - 10/2022]

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 

For HV Model: Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

For Gasoline Model: Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the H21 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance (for HV Model)

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   C34-1 (LVL) - H21-27 (OILW)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   C34-1 (LVL) or H21-27 (OILW) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Standard Resistance (for Gasoline Model)

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   C34-1 (LOIL) - H21-27 (OILW)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   C34-1 (LOIL) or H21-27 (OILW) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result
