  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (HEALTH CHECK) 
    1. Check DTCs.

  2. CHECK EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM 
    1. Perform the Evaporative System Check using the GTS (Automatic Mode). Refer to "CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN" of P0450-11.

      Refer to DTC P0450-11: Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Short to Ground; DTC P0450-15: Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Short to Battery or Open; DTC P0450-2F: Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Signal Erratic [11/2023 - ]

    2. Check for DTCs.

      Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      Evaporative emission control system DTCs are not output.

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (ACTIVATE THE FUEL FILLER OPENER) 
    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

    1. Disconnect the A27 ECM connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the A27 ECM connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      H34-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    1. Disconnect the M46 fuel lid with motor lock assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the 8G power distribution box assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M46-1 (B) - 8G-27 Always Below 1 Ω
      M46-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      M46-1 (B) or 8G-27 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
