  3. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the A15 and A68 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink, a component of the headlight assembly LH is malfunctioning.

      HINT: 

      If all LH side turn signal lights do not blink, the front turn signal light socket LH is malfunctioning.

    1. Disconnect the A66 and A68 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the front turn signal light blink, a component of the headlight assembly LH is malfunctioning.

  8. CHECK LH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CIRCUIT) 
    1. Connect the headlight assembly LH connectors.
    2. Disconnect the J23 outer mirror control ECU assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink, there is a malfunction in the circuit after the J23 connector.

      HINT: 

      If all LH side turn signal lights do not blink, the outer mirror control ECU assembly LH is malfunctioning.

    1. Remove the side turn signal light assembly LH from the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

    2. Connect the z17 outer mirror control ECU assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all LH side turn signal lights do not blink, the outer rear view mirror assembly LH is malfunctioning.

      If the LH side turn signal lights other than the side turn signal light blink, a component of the outer rear view mirror assembly LH is malfunctioning.

      HINT: 

      If all LH side turn signal lights do not blink, the outer rear view mirror assembly LH is malfunctioning.

    2. Connect the M59 rear combination light assembly LH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the LH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all LH side turn signal lights do not blink, the rear combination light cord LH is malfunctioning.

  18. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LH SIDE (ALL PARTS) - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the A15*1, A66*2 and A68 headlight assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the J23 outer mirror control ECU assembly LH connector.*3
    3. Disconnect the J31 outer rear view mirror assembly LH connector.*4
    4. Disconnect the M75 option connector (trailer towing).*5
    5. Disconnect the H22 combination meter assembly connector.
    6. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  34. CHECK RH SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS (REAR COMBINATION LIGHT CORD RH) 
    1. Remove the rear turn signal light socket RH from the rear combination light assembly RH.

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [12/2019 - ]

    2. Connect the M8 rear combination light assembly RH connector.
    3. Operate the turn signal switch and check that the RH side turn signal lights other than the rear turn signal light blink.

      HINT: 

      If all RH side turn signal lights do not blink, the rear combination light cord RH is malfunctioning.

    REPLACE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT CORD RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023] 

  35. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RH SIDE (ALL PARTS) - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the A16*1, A65*2 and A67 headlight assembly RH connector.
    2. Disconnect the J7 outer mirror control ECU assembly RH connector.*3
    3. Disconnect the J15 outer rear view mirror assembly RH connector.*4
    4. Disconnect the M75 option connector (trailer towing).*5
    5. Disconnect the H22 combination meter assembly connector.
    6. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

      5. *5: w/ Option Connector (Trailer Towing)
