The No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives valid or invalid information from the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) power supply voltage via CAN communication. When the vehicle is being driven and an invalid acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) power supply voltage is received via CAN communication for a certain amount of time, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the power supply voltage of the acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) is abnormal and illuminates the MIL and stores this DTC.
