Monitor Description
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
C052B (Case 16):
- When there is a command to turn on the reverse battery protection MOS and the reverse battery protection MOS gate voltage monitor is on, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the gate voltage is abnormal, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
C052B (Case 17):
- When the freewheeling MOS overcurrent signal is off, the current in the motor circuit is below a certain value, and the motor relay gate voltage monitor is on, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the gate voltage is abnormal, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
C052B (Case 18 and 23):
- When there is a command to turn off the motor relay, motor fail-safe relay, reverse battery protection MOS and freewheeling MOS, and any of the following conditions are met, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the gate voltage is abnormal, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
- The motor relay gate voltage monitor is on.
- The reverse battery protection MOS gate voltage monitor is on.
- The freewheeling MOS gate voltage monitor is on.
C052B (Case 19):
- When there is a command to turn on the freewheeling MOS and the freewheeling MOS gate voltage monitor is off, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the gate voltage is abnormal or the relay is malfunctioning, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
C052B (Case 20):
- When there is a command to turn on the motor relay and the motor relay gate voltage monitor is off, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the gate voltage is abnormal, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
C052B (Case 21 and 24), C052D and C052E (Case 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17):
- When the voltage upstream or downstream of the motor is outside of the specified range, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the gate voltage is abnormal or the motor circuit is malfunctioning, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
C052B (Case 22):
- When there is a command to turn on the reverse battery protection MOS and the reverse battery protection MOS gate voltage monitor is off, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the gate voltage is abnormal, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
C052B (Case 25):
- When this is no history of motor power supply voltage drop, there is a command to turn on the motor relay, and overcurrent is detected in the motor circuit, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that there is overcurrent, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
C052B (Case 26):
- When a signal indicating overcurrent in the freewheeling MOS is detected, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that there is overcurrent, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
C052C (Case 3):
- When there is a command to turn on the motor fail-safe relay, the ratio of the voltage upstream to downstream of the motor is more than a certain value, or the voltage upstream of the motor is less than a certain value, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the motor output is abnormal, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
C052C (Case 4):
- When there is a command to turn on the motor relay, and the pulse width modulated (PWM) wave frequency is outside the specified range, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the motor output is abnormal, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
C055B:
- When the voltage at terminal +BM is less than a certain value, the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) judges that the motor voltage is abnormal, the MIL is illuminated and a DTC is stored.
