NOTE:
  • Although DTC C060E-2A may be stored after entering pad replacement mode, this is not a malfunction.
  • Although DTC C060E-2A may be stored after forcibly releasing the parking brake, this is not a malfunction.
  • To ensure that the electronic parking brake does not operate, wait for 3 minutes or more with the ignition switch off, the driver door closed, and the brake pedal not depressed, then disconnect each connector, fuse and relay.
  • After replacing the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform calibration (linear solenoid valve offset learning, SM solenoid valve offset learning, brake pedal stroke sensor assembly zero point calibration, system information memorization, and yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration) after performing "Reset Memory".

  • When replacing the No. 2 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), operate the electric parking brake switch (electric parking brake switch assembly) as the parking brake indicator light (red) blinks when the ignition switch is first turned ON.
