Voice Guidance Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Component Amplifier [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the H9 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the M38 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester connection	Condition	Specified condition
   H9-3 (RL+) - M38-15 (II1+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   H9-8 (RL-) - M38-14 (II1-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M38-18 (SLD1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   H9-3 (RL+) or M38-15 (II1+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   H9-8 (RL-) or M38-14 (II1-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   OK
   NG
