BACKGROUND

Steering and suspension components, including wheels, tires, and bearings, are important to the control of a vehicle's steering and handling. Their original design, measurements, and integrity are important to safe operation. When suspected of damage, a thorough diagnosis is necessary to identify all damaged and/or misaligned components to correctly repair the vehicle.

PRECAUTIONS

Steering and suspension components are not designed to be straightened once bent. Additionally, Toyota does not approve the use of salvage and aftermarket parts because their integrity and quality cannot be verified. If a steering or suspension component is damaged, replace all damaged components with genuine OEM parts.
