- POWER STEERING ECU INITIAL SETTING NOTE:
Perform Power Steering ECU Initial Setting when the rack and pinion power steering gear assembly is replaced.
HINT:
When Power Steering ECU Initial Setting is executed, assist map writing is performed.
- Perform Power Steering ECU Initial Setting according to the instructions on the GTS screen.
Chassis > EMPS > Utility
Tester Display Power Steering ECU Initial Setting - Using the GTS, display the vehicle control history (RoB).
Chassis > EMPS > Utility
Tester Display Vehicle Control History (RoB) - Select the clear button and follow the instructions on the screen to clear the vehicle control history.NOTE:
When the vehicle control history is cleared, all the stored history items are cleared.
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Check that vehicle control history (RoB) is not output.
- Perform Power Steering ECU Initial Setting according to the instructions on the GTS screen.
