Calibration [11/2023 - ]

  1. POWER STEERING ECU INITIAL SETTING 
    NOTE:

    Perform Power Steering ECU Initial Setting when the rack and pinion power steering gear assembly is replaced.

    HINT: 

    When Power Steering ECU Initial Setting is executed, assist map writing is performed.

    1. Perform Power Steering ECU Initial Setting according to the instructions on the GTS screen.

      Chassis > EMPS > Utility

    2. Using the GTS, display the vehicle control history (RoB).

      Chassis > EMPS > Utility

      Vehicle Control History (RoB)
    3. Select the clear button and follow the instructions on the screen to clear the vehicle control history.
      NOTE:

      When the vehicle control history is cleared, all the stored history items are cleared.

    4. Turn the ignition switch off.
    5. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    6. Check that vehicle control history (RoB) is not output.
