DTC C155A-16: Power Steering Motor "A" Supply Voltage Circuit Voltage Below Threshold; DTC C155A-17: Power Steering Motor "A" Supply Voltage Circuit Voltage Above Threshold; DTC C155B-16: Power Steering Motor "B" Supply Voltage Circuit Voltage Below Threshold; DTC C155B-17: Power Steering Motor "B" Supply Voltage Circuit Voltage Above Threshold [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PIG POWER SOURCE) 
    1. Disconnect the C67 rack and pinion power steering gear assembly connector.

      *a Front view of wire harness connector (to Rack and Pinion Power Steering Gear Assembly) - -
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C67-8 (PIG) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C67-7 (PGND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE RACK AND PINION POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
