Pattern Select Switch Snow Mode Circuit [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

1. Read the value displayed on the GTS.

   Powertrain > Engine > Data List 

   Tester Display
   Snow Mode SW

   OK

   Condition	GTS Display (Snow Mode SW)
   SNOW mode switch pushed and held	ON
   SNOW mode switch not pushed	OFF

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS [12/2019 - 10/2022]

NG

REPLACE PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

• for 2WD: Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

1. Disconnect the pattern select switch assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P5-5 (2ND) - C54-105 (SNWI)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   P5-5 (2ND) or C54-105 (SNWI) - Body ground and other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
