Removal [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BATTERY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [09/2020 - 11/2023]

  3. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  5. REMOVE ECM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  6. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  7. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the starter assembly connector.

    2. Open the terminal cap.
    3. Remove the nut and disconnect the engine wire from the terminal 30.
    4. Type A:

      1. Remove the 2 bolts and starter assembly.
    5. Type B:

      1. Remove the 2 nuts.
      2. Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts and starter assembly.
