Inspection [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LH/RH DOOR)

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Rear Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly (for LH/RH Door))

      Check the switch function.

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        5 - 7 Auto up or manual up position Below 100 Ω
        4 - 7 Auto down or manual down position Below 100 Ω
        8 - 7 Auto up or auto down position Below 100 Ω
        5 - 7 Off 10 kΩ or higher
        4 - 7 Off 10 kΩ or higher
        8 - 7 Off 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH/RH door).

    2. Check that the LED illuminates.
      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the power window regulator switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK

        Battery Connection Specified Condition
        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3
        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 1
        LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH/RH door).
