Removal [10/2021 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2021 - 10/2022]

  3. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT FRONT CUSHION SHIELD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  9. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34

  11. REMOVE POWER SEAT LIFTER MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the power seat lifter motor assembly.
      1. Remove the 3 nuts and front seat adjuster plate.

      2. Remove the vertical adjuster spacer.

      3. Remove the front seat vertical housing sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE POWER SEAT TILT MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and power seat tilt motor assembly.
