DTC B2650: Slide Sensor Malfunction [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Driver Seat > Clear DTCs

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Driver Seat > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      DTC B2650 is not output.

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (SEAT SLIDE OPERATION) 
    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

  4. CHECK POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (SLIDE MOTOR CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the e11 slide motor (separate type front seat cushion spring assembly) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      e11-2 - e11-3 Slide switch on 4.8 to 5.1 V

  5. CHECK SLIDE MOTOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Reconnect the e11 slide motor (separate type front seat cushion spring assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

    REPLACE SLIDE MOTOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY). Refer to  DISASSEMBLY [12/2019 - 10/2021]  , or refer to  DISASSEMBLY [10/2021 - 11/2023]  , or refer to  DISASSEMBLY [11/2023 - ] 

  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - SLIDE MOTOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY)) 
    1. Disconnect the e25 position control ECU assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      e25-26 (SSRS) - e11-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      e25-26 (SSRS) or e11-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      e25-12 (SGND) - e11-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      e25-12 (SGND) or e11-3 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - SLIDE MOTOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING ASSEMBLY)) 
    1. Disconnect the e23 position control ECU assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      e23-1 (SLD+) - e11-4 Always Below 1 Ω
      e23-1 (SLD+) or e11-4 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      e23-5 (SLD-) - e11-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      e23-5 (SLD-) or e11-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
