Power Seat Position is not Memorized [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL OPERATION 
    1. Check that each function of the power seat operates normally by using the front power seat switch LH.

      Refer to OPERATION CHECK [12/2019 - ]

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS (SEAT MEMORY SWITCH) 
    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

    1. Replace the outer mirror control ECU assembly (driver door) with a new or known good one.

  9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (DRIVER DOOR) - SEAT MEMORY SWITCH - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the J23 outer mirror control ECU assembly (driver door) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J23-1 (MM) - J21-2 (MMRY) Always Below 1 Ω
      J23-1 (MM) or J21-2 (MMRY) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J23-2 (M1) - J21-3 (1) Always Below 1 Ω
      J23-2 (M1) or J21-3 (1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J23-3 (M2) - J21-4 (2) Always Below 1 Ω
      J23-3 (M2) or J21-4 (2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
