DTC B237E-16: Left Door Mirror Sensor Circuit Voltage Below Threshold [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Mirror L > Clear DTCs 

      Result

  2. REPRODUCE DTC 
    1. Operate the door mirror surface.

  4. INSPECT OUTER MIRROR ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Temporarily replace the outer mirror actuator assembly LH with a new or known good one.

      HINT: 

      Refer to DISASSEMBLY [10/2022 - ]

  5. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

    *a Front view of wire harness connector
    (Outer Mirror Control ECU Assembly LH)
    *b Front view of wire harness connector
    (Outer Mirror Actuator Assembly LH)
    1. Disconnect the z17 outer mirror control ECU assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the C outer mirror actuator assembly LH connector.

      Procedure1

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      z17-5 (VC) - C-3 (VC) Always Below 1 Ω
      z17-6 (VSRL) - C-2 (VSSL) Always Below 1 Ω
      z17-13 (HSRL) - C-1 (HSSL) Always Below 1 Ω
      z17-14 (E1) - C-4 (E1) Always Below 1 Ω
      z17-5 (VC) or C-3 (VC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z17-6 (VSRL) or C-2 (VSRL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z17-13 (HSRL) or C-1 (HSRL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      z17-14 (E1) or C-4 (E1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
