Hazard Warning Switch Circuit [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS 
    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List

  2. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the hazard warning signal switch assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

    2. Inspect the hazard warning signal switch assembly.

      Refer to INSPECTION [12/2019 - ]

    REPLACE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the H22 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G6-6 (TB) - H22-3 (HAZ) Always Below 1 Ω
      G6-6 (TB) or H22-3 (HAZ) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G6-3 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to

      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]
