Door Mirror Foot Light Circuit [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS 
    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

      Body Electrical > Mirror L > Active Test

  2. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Outer Rear View Mirror Assembly LH)

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 11/2023]

    2. Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 2 (MLP+).
    3. Connect a negative (-) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 12 (-).
    4. Check that the door mirror foot light LH illuminates.

      OK

      Door mirror foot light illuminates.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

  3. INSPECT OUTER MIRROR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the outer mirror light assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 11/2023]

    2. Inspect the outer mirror light assembly LH.

      Refer to INSPECTION [12/2019 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to

    REPLACE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 11/2023]

    REPLACE OUTER MIRROR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 11/2023] 

  4. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly RH.

    2. Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 2 (MLP+).

    4. Check that the door mirror foot light RH illuminates.
