DTC B2410: Headlight Swivel ECU LH Communication; DTC B2411: Headlight Swivel ECU RH Communication [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Wait 10 seconds or more.
    3. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > AFS > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      DTC B2410 and B2411 are not output.

  3. INSPECT HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    *a Component without harness connected
    (Headlight ECU Sub-assembly LH)    		 - -
    1. Remove the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 11/2023]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A15-19 (LINS) - C-4 (LINSI) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 09/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2020 - 11/2023] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 11/2023] 

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH) 
    1. Disconnect the A15 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the A16 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A15-19 (LINS) - A16-19 (LINS) Always Below 1 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  5. CHECK HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (LINS TERMINAL SIGNAL OUTPUT)

    1. Connect the A15 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    2. Using a GTS, check the waveform.

      OK

    REPLACE HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2019 - 11/2023] 

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH - HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH) 
    1. Disconnect the A15 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    2. Disconnect the A16 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A15-19 (LINS) or A16-19 (LINS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 11/2023]

    2. Connect the A15 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.
    3. Connect the A16 headlight ECU sub-assembly RH connector.
