Removal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [11/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [11/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Back Door) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    If the rear light assembly has been removed, replace the rear light packing and rear light gasket with a new one.

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Remove the 4 nuts.

    4. Disengage the guide to remove the rear light assembly.
