DTC B15A3-87: Stereo Component Amplifier Missing Message [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the M37 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M37-3 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M37-18 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M37-1 (+B) - Body ground	Always*1 IG OFF*2	11 to 14 V
   M37-16 (+B2) - Body ground	Always*1 IG OFF*2	11 to 14 V

   1. *1: for Gasoline Model
   2. *2: for HV Model

1. Disconnect the H108 radio and display receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the M38 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   H108-1 (TX1+) - M38-8 (TX+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   H108-2 (TX1-) - M38-7 (TX-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   H108-1 (TX1+) or M38-8 (TX+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   H108-2 (TX1-) or M38-7 (TX-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Replace the stereo component amplifier assembly with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

2. Turn the ignition switch off.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 60 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition switch off.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 60 seconds.
6. Check for DTCs and proceed to the following step.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes
