Operation Check [10/2022 - ]

  1. ACOUSTIC VEHICLE ALERTING SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK 
    1. System operation check (vehicle stopped)
      NOTE:

      Perform this check with the AUTO function (shift-linked function) of the electric parking brake system off.

      1. Apply the parking brake.
      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      3. With the shift lever in P, confirm that the acoustic vehicle alerting system does not operate (does not produce a sound).
      4. When the shift lever is moved from P to N, check that the acoustic vehicle alerting system operates (produces a sound).
    2. System operation check (vehicle being driven)
      1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      2. Operate the EV drive mode switch and drive the vehicle using EV drive mode.
      3. When the shift lever is moved from P to D, confirm that the acoustic vehicle alerting system operates (produces a sound) when the vehicle is driven at speeds of 35 km/h (22 mph) or less using EV drive mode.
