REVISION HISTORY

April 2024: Document formatting and content updated.

All wheels suspected of being damaged should be thoroughly evaluated with the highest regard for safety.

Toyota and Lexus do not approve the use of reconditioned wheels. Use of reconditioned wheels can compromise safe motor vehicle operation, and cause loss of control which can result in injury or death.

Toyota and Lexus wheels are NOT designed to be reconditioned after incurring damage. Reconditioning of damaged wheels is defined as involving processes that include heating, welding, adding, or removing material, reshaping, and/or re-plating. Because the history of used or salvaged wheels cannot be verified with certainty, Toyota and Lexus do not support their usage as replacement parts.
