Removal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [11/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [11/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Back Door) 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and 3 bushes.

    2. Disconnect the connector to remove the back door lock assembly.

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY WITH COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH (w/ Power Back Door) 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the bolt.
    3. Remove the 3 bolts, 3 bushes and back door lock assembly with courtesy light switch.
