Initialization [12/2019 - 11/2023]
- INITIALIZE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU NOTE:
Initialization of the multiplex network door ECU (back door initial position learning) is necessary if any of the following have been performed with the back door open.
- The cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- A fuse of the power back door system power source circuit has been removed and installed or replaced.
- The multiplex network door ECU is removed and installed or replaced, or a connector is disconnected.
- The power back door unit assembly set LH/RH is removed and installed or replaced.
The power back door system will not operate unless the multiplex network door ECU has been initialized.
HINT:
- Initialization is not necessary if the above have been performed with the back door closed.
- When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, some systems need to be initialized after the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal is reconnected.
