All Doors LOCK/UNLOCK Functions do not Operate Via Door Key Cylinder [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS 
    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Data List

      Door Lock Switch Status by a Mechanical Key (D/P Door) Driver door key-linked lock / unlock switch lock signal OFF or ON OFF: Driver door key cylinder not turned to lock position

      Door Lock Switch Status by a Mechanical Key (D/P Door)

      On the GTS screen, ON or OFF is displayed for each item according to the table above.

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

  2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to INSPECTION [12/2019 - ]

    REPLACE FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the H135 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J30-9 (L) - H135-28 (L2) Always Below 1 Ω
      J30-10 (UL) - H135-4 (UL3) Always Below 1 Ω
      J30-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      J30-9 (L) or H135-28 (L2) - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J30-10 (UL) or H135-4 (UL3) - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

    Result:
