Precaution [11/2023 - ]

  1. PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE (-) AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:
    • After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

      HINT: 

      When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.

  2. PRECAUTIONS FOR REMOVAL, INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT OF COMPONENTS 
    1. After replacing certain components, it may be necessary to update the ECU security key.

  3. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING GTS 
    1. When using the GTS with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

      Connect the GTS to the vehicle, and turn a door control switch of the multiplex network master switch assembly at intervals of 1.5 second intervals until communication between the GTS and vehicle begins.

  4. PRECAUTION FOR REGISTRATION 
    1. Before replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), refer to Registration.
