Installation [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the oil pump with motor assembly to the engine assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 46 N.m (469 kgf/cm, 34 ft.lbf) 

    2. Connect the oil pump with motor assembly connector.
    3. Install the wire harness clamp bracket to the oil pump with motor assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf) 

  2. CONNECT NO. 2 TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER HOSE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the No. 2 transmission oil cooler hose assembly to the oil pump with motor assembly and slide the 2 clips to secure it.

      *a 0 to 3 mm (0 to 0.118 in.)
      *b 2 to 7 mm (0.0787 to 0.276 in.)
      *c Paint Mark
      *d Marking
      *e Center of Paint Mark
      *f 45° (Claw of Clip Location)
      NOTE:
      • Make sure to slide the No. 2 transmission oil cooler hose assembly until it contacts the hose stopper of the oil pump with motor assembly.
      • Make sure to align the paint mark on each No. 2 transmission oil cooler hose assembly with each marking on the oil pump with motor assembly.
      • Make sure that the claws of the clip are within the location shown in the illustration.
  3. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2021 - ]

  4. INSPECT HYBRID TRANSAXLE FLUID 

    Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [12/2019 - 11/2023] 

  5. INSPECT FOR HYBRID TRANSAXLE FLUID LEAK 
  6. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 62 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 62 [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 63 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 63 [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  8. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 65 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 65 [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  9. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 64 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 64 [10/2022 - 11/2023]
