Installation [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure
- INSTALL CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY NOTE:
When installing a curtain shield airbag assembly, have assistants hold it to prevent it from bending.
- Check that the ignition switch is off.
- Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- Engage the 4 clamps to connect the airbag wire harness.
- Insert the 3 hooks and install the curtain shield airbag assembly with 5 new bolts, a new spacer, 8 new clips (A) with pins, and engage the 2 clips (B).
Torque: 11 N*m (112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:Do not twist the curtain shield airbag assembly when installing it.
HINT:
Engage the 2 claws to install each new clip (A).
*1 Pin *2 Spacer *a Clip (A) *b Clip (B) *c Spacer Location *d Needle Nose Pliers No. 2 
Install in this Direction - - - Using a needle nose pliers No. 2 or equivalent, push the 8 pins into the 8 clips (A).NOTE:
- Do not damage the pins.
- Make sure that the pins of the clips (A) are pushed in firmly.
- Connect the airbag connector.NOTE:
When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
for 2GR-FKS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
for A25A-FXS: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2019 - 10/2022]
- PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK
- INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
