Removal [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  2. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and 3 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.
      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

    3. Remove the bolt and separate the engine wire.

    4. Disconnect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors and disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.
    5. Remove the 3 bolts and 3 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
