Installation [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing an ignition coil assembly.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2019 - 10/2022]

    1. Install the 3 ignition coil assemblies to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Install the same parts to their original positions.

    2. Connect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors and engage the 2 wire harness clamps.
    3. Install the engine wire with the bolt.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    4. Install the 3 ignition coil assemblies to the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Install the same parts to their original positions.

    5. Connect the 3 ignition coil assembly connectors.
  3. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing an ignition coil assembly or spark plug.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2019 - 10/2022]
