Installation [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the No. 1 cylinder block insulator and 2 new O-rings.
    2. Install the oil cooler assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque: 21 N.m (214 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf) 

    3. Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose to the oil cooler assembly, and slide the 2 clips to secure them.
    4. Install the hose clamp with the nut.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY LH (TWC: Front Catalyst) 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2019 - 10/2022]

  3. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [09/2020 - 10/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [10/2021 - 10/2022]

  4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [09/2020 - 10/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [10/2021 - 10/2022]

  7. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
