Installation [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench, install a new gasket and temperature sensor.

      Torque: 30 N.m (306 kgf/cm, 22 ft.lbf) 

    2. Connect the temperature sensor connector.
  2. ADD DIFFERENTIAL OIL 

    for Dynamic Torque Control AWD: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

    for Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. INSPECT FOR DIFFERENTIAL OIL LEAK 
  4. DYNAMIC TORQUE CONTROL AWD SYSTEM CALIBRATION (for Dynamic Torque Control AWD) 
    1. When the temperature sensor is replaced, it is necessary to perform ECU Data Initialization.

      Refer to CALIBRATION [12/2019 - ]

  5. DYNAMIC TORQUE VECTORING AWD SYSTEM CALIBRATION (for Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD) 
    1. When the temperature sensor is replaced, it is necessary to perform ECU Data Initialization.
