Disassembly [12/2019 - 09/2020]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  5. REMOVE KICK DOOR CONTROL SENSOR WITH BRACKET (w/ Kick Sensor) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 
    1. Disengage the 15 clamps to remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.

  7. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and reflex reflector assembly LH.

  8. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION 
    1. Disengage each clip.

      *A w/o Kick Sensor - -
    2. Remove the 6 clips.

    3. Disengage the 10 claws and 6 guides to remove the rear bumper extension.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER LOWER COVER 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and 4 clips.

      Screw Clip
    2. Disengage the 14 claws and 2 guides to remove the rear bumper lower cover from the rear bumper cover.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Disengage the 7 claws to remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH 
    1. Remove the rear bumper pad LH.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  13. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  14. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER LH 
    1. Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the screw and rear bumper upper retainer LH.
  16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER RETAINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the rear bumper side support LH is necessary.

    1. Disengage the 3 clips as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear bumper side support LH.

  18. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the rear bumper side seal LH is necessary.

    1. Remove the screw and clip.

  20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the rear bumper reinforcement is necessary.

    1. Remove the 6 nuts and rear bumper reinforcement.
