Installation [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY (except Sport Package) 
    1. w/ Kick Sensor:
      1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the 2 clips and 2 claws.
    3. Engage the 16 claws.
    4. Install the 2 screws.
    5. Install each clip.
    6. Install the rear bumper assembly with each screw.
    7. Remove the protective tape.
  2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for Sport Package) 
    1. Engage the 2 clips and 2 claws.
    2. Engage the 16 claws.
    3. Install the 2 screws.
    4. Install each clip.
    5. Install the rear bumper assembly with the 6 screws.
    6. Remove the protective tape.
  3. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. CONNECT QUARTER PANEL WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH 
    1. Install 3 new clips to the quarter panel wheel opening moulding LH.
    2. Engage the 3 clips.
    3. Engage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
    4. Connect the quarter panel wheel opening moulding LH with the screw and 3 clips.
    5. Remove the protective tape.
  6. CONNECT QUARTER PANEL WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD LH (w/ Mudguard) 

    See step  1

  8. INSTALL REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH (w/ Mudguard) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Kick Sensor) 

    for T24A-FTS:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [11/2023 - ]

    for A25A-FXS:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [12/2019 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [11/2023 - ]

  10. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Kick Sensor) 

    for HV Model:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2019 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2023 - ]

  11. INSPECT KICK DOOR CONTROL SENSOR (w/ Kick Sensor) 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [12/2019 - 11/2023] , or refer to OPERATION CHECK [11/2023 - ]
