Installation [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Type A:
      1. Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts.

        Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

    2. Type B:
      1. Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, temporarily install the starter assembly with the 2 stud bolts.

        Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

      2. Install the starter assembly with the 2 nuts.

        Torque: 37 N.m (377 kgf/cm, 27 ft.lbf) 

    3. Connect the engine wire to the terminal 30 with the nut.

      Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

    4. Close the terminal cap.
    5. Connect the starter assembly connector.
  2. INSTALL BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 45 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 45 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  3. INSTALL ECM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  5. INSTALL INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51 [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  6. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2020 - ]

  7. INSTALL BATTERY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2019 - 10/2022]
