Disassembly [11/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Position Memory System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  2. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT FRONT CUSHION SHIELD 
    1. Remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws.

    3. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and slightly pull the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

    4. Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  10. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  11. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER SHIELD CLAMP BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and seat adjuster shield clamp bracket from the front seat cushion shield.

  12. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 9 claws and remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE (for Driver Side) 
    1. w/o Lumbar Support:
      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the front seat No. 2 wire.

  22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. w/ Climate Control Seat System:
      1. Disengage the clamp (A) and disconnect the connector (B).

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps (C) and disconnect the connector (D) to remove the front seat No. 2 wire.
  23. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Lumbar Support) 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws to separate the 2 front No. 2 seatback edge protectors from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. w/ Seatback Felt:
      1. Remove the seatback felt from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.
  24. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR 
    1. w/o Lumbar Support:
      1. Remove the 2 front No. 2 seatback edge protectors from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.
    2. w/ Lumbar Support:
      1. Remove the 2 front No. 2 seatback edge protectors from the lumbar support adjuster assembly.
  25. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK HOOK 
    1. Remove the 2 front No. 2 seatback hooks from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  26. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD 
    1. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 10 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

  28. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 14 claws and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration.

  35. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE LH (for Driver Side) 
    1. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the connector.
