Installation [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR 

    HINT: 

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pressure sensor.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2021 - ]

    1. Temporarily install a new fuel pressure sensor to the fuel delivery pipe as shown in the illustration.

      *a Cutout (Fuel Delivery Pipe)
      *b Cutout (Fuel Pressure Sensor)
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the cutout of the fuel delivery pipe is aligned with the cutout of the fuel pressure sensor.

    2. Temporarily install the No. 1 fuel pressure sensor holder to the fuel delivery pipe as shown in the illustration.

      *b Cutout (No. 1 Fuel Pressure Sensor Holder)
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the cutout of the fuel pressure sensor is aligned with the cutout of the No. 1 fuel pressure sensor holder.

    3. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    4. Connect the fuel pressure sensor connector.
  2. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2021 - ]

  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 68 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 66 [10/2022 - ]

  5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pressure sensor.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2021 - ]
