Installation [10/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install a new gasket to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.

      HINT: 

      Be sure to clean the contact surfaces.

    2. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, install the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    3. Connect the No. 7 water by-pass hose to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
  2. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [11/2023 - ]

  3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
