Installation [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply adhesive to the area shown in the illustration.

      *a Oil Inlet Port
      *b 3 Threads or More
      Adhesive Application Area

      Adhesive

      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent

      NOTE:
      • Do not apply adhesive to the oil inlet port of the engine oil pressure switch assembly.
      • Apply the adhesive to the first 3 threads or more of the engine oil pressure switch assembly.
      • Apply adhesive to the entire circumference of the thread.
      • Install the engine oil pressure switch assembly within 3 minutes of applying adhesive.
    2. Using a 24 mm deep socket wrench, install the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

      Torque: 15 N.m (153 kgf/cm, 11 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installation.

    3. Connect the engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
    4. Engage the clamp to connect the wire harness protector.
  2. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [09/2020 - 10/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [10/2021 - 10/2022]

  3. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [09/2020 - 10/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [10/2021 - 10/2022]

  5. INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 75 [12/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 75 [09/2020 - 10/2022]
