Removal [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]

  2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [10/2022 - ]

  3. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [10/2022 - ]

  4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2022 - ]

  5. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [11/2023 - ]

  6. REMOVE FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [10/2022 - ]

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK SIDE TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [10/2022 - ]

  8. REMOVE DECK TRIM POCKET COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [10/2022 - ]

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36 [10/2022 - ]

  10. REMOVE ROPE HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37 [10/2022 - ]

  11. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38 [10/2022 - ]

  12. REMOVE RADIO SETTING CONDENSER 
    NOTE:

    When a terminal cover is removed, the radio setting condenser must be replaced because the terminal covers and condenser are supplied as a set.

    1. Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the radio setting condenser with wire harness from the vehicle body.
    3. Disengage the claw and pull out the cover as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    4. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 6 claws and remove the 2 terminal covers with wire harness from the condenser as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    5. Using a screwdriver, bend back and break off the claw as shown in the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the other terminal cover.

    6. Remove the 2 terminal covers from the wire harness.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure to hold the crimped side of the terminal when disconnecting the wire harness from the terminal cover.
      • Make sure not to bend the exposed wire when disconnecting the wire harness from the terminal cover.
      • Check for deformation of the terminal after the wire harness has been removed from the terminal cover.
