Removal [12/2019 - 10/2022]: Procedure
- REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY
- Remove the deck board assembly.
- REMOVE NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Woofer)
- Remove the No. 3 deck board sub-assembly.
- REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)
- Remove the tonneau cover assembly.
- REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER
- REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX
- REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH (w/o Woofer)
- REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
- REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2019 - ]
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
- Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

Place Hand Here 
Remove in this Direction HINT:
Use the same procedure for the front side and rear side.
- Disengage the claw and guide as shown in the illustration.

Remove in this Direction - Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

- Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH
- Apply protective tape around the front pillar garnish assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

Protective Tape - Pull the upper part of the front pillar garnish assembly LH toward the inside of the cabin as shown in the illustration to disengage the front pillar garnish assembly LH from the base of the 2 front pillar garnish clips.
HINT:
Let the front pillar garnish assembly LH hang from the 2 front pillar garnish clips.

Remove in this Direction - While pushing the tabs of the front pillar garnish clip as shown in the illustration, disengage it.
*1 Front Pillar Garnish Clip HINT:
When the front pillar garnish clip cannot be disengaged easily:
- While pushing the tab of the front pillar garnish clip shown in the illustration with your finger, move the front pillar garnish clip in the direction shown in the illustration.

Move in this Direction - While pulling the front pillar garnish clip as shown in the illustration, push the tab of the front pillar garnish clip shown in the illustration with a screwdriver and disengage the front pillar garnish clip.

Pull in this Direction
- While pushing the tab of the front pillar garnish clip shown in the illustration with your finger, move the front pillar garnish clip in the direction shown in the illustration.
- Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front pillar garnish assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

Remove in this Direction - w/ Front No. 3 Speaker:
- Disconnect the connector.
- Protect the curtain shield airbag assembly LH.
*1 Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly LH *a Protective Cover *b Adhesive Tape - Cover the curtain shield airbag assembly LH with a protective cover, such as a cloth, and secure the edges of the cover with tape as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Cover the curtain shield airbag assembly LH with a protective cover as soon as the front pillar garnish assembly LH is removed.
- Cover the curtain shield airbag assembly LH with a protective cover, such as a cloth, and secure the edges of the cover with tape as shown in the illustration.
- Apply protective tape around the front pillar garnish assembly LH as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

- REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER (for LH Side)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

- REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH
- Pull the lower center pillar garnish LH in the directions indicated by the arrows (1) shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws (A).

Remove in this Direction (2) - Pull the lower center pillar garnish LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws (B).
- Disengage the 2 clips to remove the lower center pillar garnish LH as shown in the illustration.

Remove in this Direction
- Pull the lower center pillar garnish LH in the directions indicated by the arrows (1) shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws (A).
- REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH
- Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
- Disengage the guide.
- Disengage the clip and 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

Remove in this Direction - Pass the anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH through the center pillar garnish assembly LH and remove the center pillar garnish assembly LH.
- Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

- DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

- REMOVE NO. 2 DECK SIDE TRIM COVER
- DISCONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

- REMOVE DECK TRIM POCKET COVER (for LH Side)
- REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (for LH Side)
- REMOVE ROPE HOOK (for LH Side)
- REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH
- REMOVE QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH LH
- REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH
- Disengage the 2 clips to disconnect the inner roof side garnish assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

Remove in this Direction - While pushing the tabs of the roof side garnish clip as shown in the illustration, disengage it.
*1 Front Pillar Garnish Clip HINT:
When the roof side garnish clip cannot be disengaged easily:
- While pushing the tab of the roof side garnish clip shown in the illustration with your finger, move the roof side garnish clip in the direction shown in the illustration.

Move in this Direction - While pulling the roof side garnish clip as shown in the illustration, push the tab of the roof side garnish clip shown in the illustration with a screwdriver and disengage the roof side garnish clip.

Pull in this Direction
- While pushing the tab of the roof side garnish clip shown in the illustration with your finger, move the roof side garnish clip in the direction shown in the illustration.
- Disengage the 6 clips as shown in the illustration.

Remove in this Direction - Pass the anchor of the rear No. 2 seat outer belt assembly LH through the inner roof side garnish assembly LH and remove the inner roof side garnish assembly LH.
- Disengage the 2 clips to disconnect the inner roof side garnish assembly LH as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER RH
- DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE NO. 1 DECK SIDE TRIM COVER
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 deck side trim cover.
- DISCONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE COOLER (NO. 2 ROOM TEMP. SENSOR) THERMISTOR (w/ Rear Automatic Air Conditioning System)

HINT:

- Insert SST into the cutout of the assist grip cover LH as shown in the illustration.
- SST: 09813-00010
NOTE:To prevent the assist grip sub-assembly from being damaged, make sure to insert SST straight into the cutout.
*a Cutout - Pull SST as shown in the illustration to disengage the claw.NOTE:
To prevent the assist grip sub-assembly from being damaged, make sure to only pull SST as shown in the illustration.

- Disengage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration to remove the assist grip sub-assembly.

Remove in this Direction - Remove the 2 clips from the vehicle body.
- Insert SST into the cutout of the assist grip cover LH as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY LH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the assist grip sub-assembly.
- REMOVE REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the assist grip sub-assembly.
- REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER LH (w/ Cover)
- REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY LH
- Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 screws and visor assembly LH.
- Pull the visor assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration to disconnect it from the visor holder.

Remove in this Direction (1) 
Remove in this Direction (2) - Pull the visor assembly LH in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to remove it.
- Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 screws and visor assembly LH.
- REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER RH (w/ Cover)

- Disconnect each connector.

- Disconnect the connector.
- Disconnect the washer hose assembly.
HINT:
Use a container to collect the windshield washer fluid.
- for Normal Roof:

- for Panoramic Moon Roof:
- Disconnect the 2 connectors.
- Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the back door as shown in the illustration.

Remove in this Direction NOTE:Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.
