Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the deck board assembly.
  2. REMOVE NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Woofer) 
    1. Remove the No. 3 deck board sub-assembly.
  3. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover) 
    1. Remove the tonneau cover assembly.
  4. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER 
    1. Disengage the 6 claws and 2 guides to remove the battery service hole cover.

  5. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 7 clips.

    2. Remove the nut.

    3. Disengage the 7 claws and 2 clips to remove the rear deck floor box.
  6. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH (w/o Woofer) 
    1. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the deck side trim box LH.

    1. Apply protective tape around the front pillar garnish assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

    2. Pull the upper part of the front pillar garnish assembly LH toward the inside of the cabin as shown in the illustration to disengage the front pillar garnish assembly LH from the base of the 2 front pillar garnish clips.

      HINT: 

      Let the front pillar garnish assembly LH hang from the 2 front pillar garnish clips.

      1. Cover the curtain shield airbag assembly LH with a protective cover, such as a cloth, and secure the edges of the cover with tape as shown in the illustration.
        NOTE:

        Cover the curtain shield airbag assembly LH with a protective cover as soon as the front pillar garnish assembly LH is removed.

  13. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH 
    1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the rear No. 1 seat assembly LH to the foremost position.
    2. Disengage the 6 clips and 2 guides to remove the rear outer seat track bracket cover LH.

  18. REMOVE LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Pull the lower center pillar garnish LH in the directions indicated by the arrows (1) shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws (A).
