Disassembly [12/2019 - 11/2023]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  2. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  4. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  5. REMOVE RECLINING HINGE COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the reclining hinge cover.
  6. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE 
    1. Remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws.

    3. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and slightly pull the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

    4. Disengage the guide to remove the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.
    3. Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

      HINT: 

      Disengage the 4 clamps first.

    4. Remove the 4 bolts.

    5. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.
  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 3 hooks.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disengage the clamp.

    3. Open the 2 fasteners.

    4. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest support assemblies.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD 
    1. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 9 claws and remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [10/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws to separate the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR 
    1. Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.
  17. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEATBACK HOOK 
    1. Remove the 2 front No. 1 seatback hooks from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD 
    1. w/ Seat Heater System:
      1. Disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp.

    3. Disengage the 10 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [12/2019 - 10/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [10/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [10/2022 - 11/2023]

  20. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 14 claws and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration.

  21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  22. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH 
    1. for LH Side:
      1. Disengage the clamp.

  23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/ Seat Heater System) 
    1. Disengage the claw and 3 clamps to remove the front seat wire.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and clamp to remove the front seat wire RH.
  25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER 
    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the front seat cushion wire harness holder.
    3. w/o Seat Heater System:
      1. Disengage the claw to remove the wiring harness connector from the front seat cushion wire harness holder.
  26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  27. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEAT TRACK COVER 
    1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat adjuster assembly to the rearmost position.
    2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 4 claws to remove the rear upper seat track cover as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for both sides.

  28. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE 
    1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat adjuster assembly to the foremost position.
    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the seat track adjusting handle from the front seat adjuster assembly as shown in the illustration.

  29. REMOVE SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER 
    1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 4 claws to remove the seat track upper rail cover as shown in the illustration.
